CBS Interviews Baseball and Yankee Historian Marty Appel on Babe Ruth

In addition to interviewing Babe Ruth’s daughter, Julia Ruth Stevens, CBS also interviewed baseball and Yankee historian and author, Marty Appel, regarding some of the history and impact of Babe Ruth, as well as some of his legend (such as Babe’s miraculous influence on Johnny Sylvester’s healing). CBS has featured a couple of Babe Ruth-related segments over the past few days in commemoration of 100th anniversary of Babe’s entrance in Major League Baseball.
