Leigh Montville

Author Leigh Montville recently published one of the most popular biographies on the Babe called, “The Big Bam”. He began his sports-writing career as a columnist for The Boston Globe, where he worked for 21 years. Montville is now a senior writer for Sports Illustrated. He is also the author of many books, including, “Manute: The Center of Two Worlds”, “Dare to Dream” (written with University of Connecticut basketball coach, Jim Calhoun), “At the Altar of Speed: The Fast Life and Tragic Death of Dale Earnhardt”, “Why Not Us? The 86-Year Journey of the Boston Red Sox Fans From Unparalleled Suffering to the Promised Land of the 2004 World Series” and the bestseller, “Ted Williams: The Biography of an American Hero.”
